Peace of Mind and Around-the-Clock Surface Protection

When it comes to sanitizing and disinfecting your property, there are no shortcuts. So many companies nowadays are taking a "spray and walk away" approach, but Chem Master Restoration never does. Before we begin sanitizing, our technicians carefully inspect and evaluate the space to develop a plan that will result in a measurable absence of bacteria- and virus-containing pathogens.

Cleaning, Disinfecting & Sanitizing Process

Chem Master's work is very systematic, starting with outside perimeter wall areas, working our way to the center of the structure while applying a fine, electrostatic fog to all walls, furnishings, and high-touch surface areas as needed. The final application is done to the cold air return side of the HVAC system while the system is running.

What Occupants Should Expect

Before we begin, please put any open food containers or consumables in a sealed container or area. High-touch areas should be pre-cleaned before treatment unless you have requested that we do that as well. All occupants will need to remain out of the building for 1-2 hours after treatment. Though our food-safe disinfectants are non-toxic, the airborne particles can be an irritant. Since our products are EPA-rated as "no rinse," there is nothing you'll have to do before re-entering the space. Glass, windows, and computer screens may have a very slight haze that can be wiped away with a damp cloth as needed.

What Makes Our Sanitizing Services Exceptional

Four specific features of our disinfecting and sanitizing service set us apart from other companies in the area who purport to offer disinfection without explaining clearly the reasons why.

  1. Equipment:  Our electrostatic sprayers and foggers do more than apply disinfectant in a linear fashion. The electrostatic technology charges the droplets as they leave the sprayer nozzle. Those charged droplets actually repel each other and actively seek surfaces, creating a "wrapping" effect that disperses the disinfectant around objects and deep into hard-to-reach crevices in a way that traditional sprayers can't. All business owners and property managers are also reassured by our ATP meter swab testing so they know that the disinfecting service was effective.
  2. Disinfectants & 30-Day Antimicrobial Protection:  We sourced a powerful, hospital-grade product called Vital Oxide® , a stabilized chlorine dioxide disinfectant rated as non-toxic and food-safe by the Environmental Protection Agency. This chemical is on the "N List" as a product able to kill pathogens like the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) on porous and non-porous surfaces when used according to directions.

For around-the-clock, ongoing antimicrobial protection for high-touch surfaces, we use Penetrexx® Antimicrobial , an organosilane, which forms a colorless, odorless, positively charged polymer that chemically bonds to the treated surface and remains effective for up to 30 days. This ultra-thin film is like a layer of electrically charged swords. When a microorganism like a virus or bacteria comes in contact with the layer, the "sword" punctures the cell membrane and lethally shocks the cell. Normal cleaning of treated surfaces is necessary to prevent the buildup of dirt and dead microbes that would cover the "swords," prohibiting them from killing more microorganisms.
  3. Training:  We didn't want to just read a product label and call ourselves experts in sanitization. We invested in training with the nation's leading authority, the Global Biorisk Advisory Council, and achieved validation that our company's cleaning, disinfection, and infection prevention program will help facility owners prepare, respond and recover from biohazards and infectious agents, such as SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19.
  4. Ongoing Service:  Every business owner knows that every time someone enters the building, that person may be contagious and spread infection. Sanitizing once and calling it good enough will NOT achieve the peace of mind necessary for productive business operations. That's why Chem Master offers competitively priced ongoing service contracts to periodically re-sanitize your space.
